Joe Sarubbi

Mr. Sarubbi is the President & CEO of – Trilogy Workforce Solutions and has  over 45 years of experience, specializing in technical education, training, and workforce development.

 As a consultant for the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), Mr. Sarubbi served as Project Manager for the Department of Energy’s Grid Engineering for Accelerated Renewable Energy Deployment (GEARED) project, designed to grow the technological expertise and human capacity of Power Systems Engineers. He also led IREC’s Solar Instructor Training Network (SITN) with the goal to grow the capacity of individuals with solar skills to support the rapid growth of the solar industry.

As the Executive Director and main architect of Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART facility, the country’s first totally integrated Training and Education Center for Semi-Conductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies and in 2009, President Obama recognized his work in developing “model programs” for other institutions to emulate such as a “College in the High School” program aligned with STEM education.

Mr. Sarubbi has testified before the U.S. Congress regarding renewable energy training programs and workforce policy and has advised numerous institutions and organizations regarding technical education and energy workforce development, and in 2009 traveled to South America at the request of the US Department of State to advise South American governments on renewable energy workforce development. He is currently providing his consulting skills to Interplay Learning, a nationally recognized company that specializes in developing online technical training products using the latest in game-based learning for an interactive, 3D immersive educational experience.
